Who We Are

HighAngle Technical Group is a comprehensive end-to-end communications installation company specializing in the construction of fibre optic and data networks. In 2013, HighAngle partnered with Telus Communications in the construction of the Pure Fibre GPON network, delivering industry-leading services to over 80,000 homes and businesses across British Columbia and Alberta.

HighAngle’s innovative approaches, ability to operate within tight timelines, and proven dependability have helped earn many high profile and complex installation contracts for other customers including Rogers Communications, Shaw Communications, EComm911, Freedom Mobile, TransLink, The City of Vancouver, The City of Burnaby, The City of Coquitlam, and the Trans Mountain Pipeline.

In addition to communications installation, Highangle is NoTraffic’s exclusive distribution partner in Western Canada, bringing their proven AI-powered traffic signal technology to BC and Alberta municipalities to reduce congestion and solve other traffic challenges in real-time. NoTraffic’s technology transforms intersections into a connected digital transportation network that enhances efficiency, assures safety, and maximizes infrastructure utilization.

Safety

A priority at Highangle

At HighAngle, we do everything we can to meet and exceed National and Provincial safety standards. All of our companies are BCCSA COR® certified and our in-house Construction Safety Officer conducts repeated inspections on worksites to maintain compliance with WorkSafe BC’s ever evolving requirements and regulations.

Our Joint Health and Safety Committee meets monthly to review HighAngle’s safety policies, and monthly safety meetings for held with all staff to provide ample opportunity for two-way communication.

All of our employees are certified to at least OFA Level 1 First Aid and safety certification is maintained for all of our field staff, including but not limited to Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Confined Space, Safety Code 6 and Rope Access.
